Accelerating Embodied AI With Simulation
Simulation is rapidly redefining how embodied AI systems learn, adapt, and deploy in the real world. In this talk, we’ll share best practices from Lightwheel’s work supporting leading research and industry teams with SimReady assets, scalable synthetic data pipelines, and simulation-first workflows. We’ll walk through a practical sim-to-real pipeline built on top of NVIDIA Isaac Sim, Isaac Lab, OpenUSD, and GR00T-compatible infrastructure, showcasing how Lightwheel enables teams to fine-tune foundation models and reinforcement learning policies entirely in simulation before successful real-world deployment. We’ll highlight how high-quality, physics-accurate SimReady assets — from rigid to deformable — play a critical role in generalization, and how Lightwheel’s open-source and cloud tooling are helping to democratize access to high-quality simulation for the broader embodied AI community. From generating realistic demonstrations in simulation—using validated SimReady assets for manipulation and locomotion—to co-training and deploying robot foundation models like Isaac GR00T N1.5, this session distills hard-earned insights into what works—and what doesn’t—when building generalist robots with simulation at the core. ⬇️ Get Started → https://nvda.ws/4cZAZO1 👀 Explore OpenUSD → https://nvda.ws/3CeozBQ 👥 Join the Community → https://nvda.ws/3ZMfc6e About NVIDIA Omniverse: NVIDIA Omniverse™ is a platform that enables developers to easily integrate Universal Scene Description (OpenUSD) and RTX rendering technologies into existing software tools and simulation workflows for building AI systems.
