Accessibility: Building a better plugin?
Here is a first look at a recent project I've been working on: the accessibility plugin. Not entirely satisfied with Moodle's existing options for accessibility, I decided to design a new version and have a programmer build it for me (https://github.com/ponlawat-w Thanks a lot buddy). This plugin is designed to be modular, and allows for different widgets to be added to give users choice over various aspects of the site that may affect accessibility; for example, text size and colour, background colour, font face and size. I'm hoping that others will be encouraged to develop and add widgets that may be useful in other contexts too. The plugin for Moodle 4.2 can be downloaded here: https://github.com/ponlawat-w/moodle-local_accessibility/tree/fix/moodle402-saving-preferences Also, I mention the accessibility block that is available from the Moodle Plugins Directory.
