Accessing the Victim - Tower Rescue Training

Accessing the victim during a tower type rescue often requires coming from the bottom of a structure and climbing up past the victim to establish anchors. This is what we refer to as a "bottom-up" style rescue versus a the traditional "top-down" style rescues taught in the majority of NFPA Rope Operations and Rope Technician courses.
