The Monty Hall Problem - At a game show you’re given the choice of three doors. Behind one door is a car and behind the other doors, goats. After you pick a door, the host, who knows what’s behind the doors, opens another door, and reveals a goat. He then asks you whether you wish to switch your choice. Is it to your advantage to do that? These short videos are meant for instructors or students wishing to give a practical framework to problem-solving. We first introduce a three-step process: Understanding, Strategizing, and Implementing. We then present 10 strategies (Posamentier & Krulik, 2015) and explain each of them individually in separate videos.
