What is “Aseptic sampling”? Here on YouTube you will find a video showing you “Aseptic sampling of beer in process”. We widely disagree with the terminology as well as the technics used in that video when it claims to show aseptic technics.
To us, aseptic sampling is defined as “the process of withdrawing a sample from the production equipment through a closed circuit, which has been sterilized and kept sterile with no exposure to the environment during the sampling process.”
Since we disagree with the methods in the other video, we made our own. Please refer to this one if you are looking into sampling representatively. Sampling doesn’t have to be tricky, especially not with the proper procedures and training.
