In the video clip you would see at the end that Filip and me are on the same performing level. Reason is that I never try a Moon gainer before and I learn it just few days before shooting, and my learning method is Synthetic.That basically means trying to perform whole element at once. In other hand Filip tried Analytic way of learning, so judging by the effects in this case, Analytic learning is faster. EXERCISES: 1. Vertical jump - Simple exercise design to help with deciding with which leg would you jump. It only works when you imagine some high object to catch, in that case jump leg should naturally be in front of body in a position to jump. 2. J step - is a way to enter in the element (Moon gainer). In video clip we propose start with free leg. Next step is with jump leg in which we are doing a small jump, then free leg is going in next step a bit on side (preparing for swing). And last step is jump leg on position to jump,... 3. J step jump - is practically a previous exercise with jump on vertical surface. It is an imitation of jump so when you doing it is Ok to be of balance, because thats the way free leg working in jumping fase. Goal is of course to jump higher you can. 4. Moon gainer imitation (slow) - it is a imitation of flip by it self. The goal is to coordinate body and learn positions of legs, body and arms through take off, rotation and landing. 5. Moon gainer imitation (fast) - it is same exercise as previous but with more accentuate on situation component. That means more swing with free leg which gives rotation and extra hight, explosive jump, angle between legs should be around 130°(Perfect), stabile landing on free leg. 6. Moon gainer on springboard - it is logic sequence of previous exercises. Starting with assistance then performing alone. Assistance is always with one hand behind back and other behind free leg. There is alternative, both hand behind back, but control is too poor and only you can assist is height.Difference between this exercise and previous exercise is that now we have arm swing which is been isolated previously. Arm swing giving us a hight and helping in rotation. 7. Moon gainer with Assistance - firstly you both need to agree where is take off spot. Then assistant stand step in forward and of course in place where he is safe from free leg swing and wait for right time to assist. After few attempts of J step jumps, some mats around take off place is needed for safety reasons.
