Adding Teleprompter Functionality Using vMix Scripting

A Teleprompter can be an incredible timesaver when you – or the talent you are working with – need to follow a specific script during a production. It can also be helpful with talent that are joining a production remotely and need to deliver a focused message without a local support team to help them. On today’s show, we will show you how to build a teleprompter directly into vMix using a combination of shortcuts and scripting to make it all work. This prompter allows you to load a full script or just segments of a script, adjust playback speed dynamically, interact with a producer when paused, and set an on screen timer to help with pacing.
