Additive is rarer, but offers significant capabilities which are hard or impossible to replicate any other way. This talk explores additive synthesis, the principals, and how to implement banks of oscillators efficiently using the CORDIC algorithm. We will go on to discuss techniques for generating additive patches from samples, and some of the unusual modulation techniques it offers. --- Cesare Ferrari Cesare is a developer with over 25 years experience of realtime software development. He has worked in audio since 2001 and is the co-designer of the SOUL programming language. --- Streamed & Edited by Digital Medium Ltd - online.digital-medium.co.uk --- Special thanks to the ADC21 Team: Lina Berzinskas Sophie Carus Timur Doumler Derek Heimlich Josh Hodge Andrew Kirk Bobby Lombardi Tom Poole Ralph Richbourg Jim Roper Jonathan Roper
