Adhesive Selection Guide for Holographic Security Labels

Choosing the right adhesive is critical to the performance of holographic security labels. There are two common pressure-sensitive adhesives (PSA): Water-based PSA and Solvent-based PSA. Water-based PSA is suitable for smooth surfaces like paper and cardboard. Solvent-based PSA provides stronger bonding and works better on curved, rough, oily, or low-surface-energy surfaces like plastics and rubber.
