Advanced Attendance System Demo

About Demo : 3 phones from left are clients and on the rightmost is server. Start hotspot is clicked which opens hotspot for connections to server. You can see that as soon as attendance is marked, Wi-Fi is disconnected on Clients app. I didn't show the case when person is trying to mark again but you can try that case , its taken care of. Teacher would open app and click a button which would open Wifi Hotspot of his/her phone available for Clients i.e Students to connect. Students would have Clients app on their phone which when used would mark attendance with a conformation message. Problems Faced and Solutions : Proxy Prevention : Uses Clients MAC Address to identify each device. So until you root your phone and change your MAC Address during attendance time, you can`t mark false attendance. Connection Limit of WiFi Hotspot : As soon as Clients app receives conformation of attendance, its WiFi is disabled. So others could mark their attendance.
