Cucumber Hooks: Hooks are blocks of code that run at various points of Cucumber execution cycle It is typically used for setup and teardown of environments Scenario hooks run for every scenario Before hooks run before the first step of each scenario After hooks run after the last step of each scenario BeforeStep hooks are invoked before a step AfterStep hooks are invoked after a step If BeforeStep hook is executed then AfterStep hooks will be executed regardless of result of step Cucumber Tags: • Tags allows us to organize our features and scenarios • Feature or Scenario can have any number of tags • Tags can be placed above the following Gherkin elements: • Features • Scenario • Scenario Outline • Examples • It is not possible to place tags above Background or steps
