Advanced Weapon System Part 4 - Shotgun
In this video, we are putting our modular weapon system to the ultimate test by adding a fully functioning Shotgun archetype from start to finish in under 7 minutes! Because our core weapon component architecture is completely modular, we don't have to rewrite any blueprint logic or force complex math to handle unique weapon traits. Instead, we just plug a new row into our Data Table to natively drive multi-pellet counts and custom projectile spread. We'll walk through setting up our skeletal mesh sockets, duplicating data assets for instant logic inheritance, mapping a dedicated weapon selection slot for Key 4, and implementing our reload input logic.
