Advances in High Current Injection Testing

Primary current injection testing is generally the most important and meaningful test for low voltage circuit breakers since it checks all mechanical and electrical components of a circuit breaker as a working system, instead of just checking a selected number of components individually. On medium voltage circuit breakers it can also be used to verify the functionality of the entire circuit from the circuit breaker, current transformers, wiring to the relays and validity of relay settings.
