Advantage Bone Cement Spacer
1. Mix the low viscosity bone cement (as per the 'qty. required"- mentioned on cover packing) and load it in the bone cement dispenser. 2. Keep two K-wires (2.5 mm dia. & 10 cm long) ready to be used as 'reinforcement' in spacer. 3. Hold the bone cement spacer mould in 'Advantage' multiutility vice. 4. Slide the rubber sleeve to open the window on lateral side. 5. Fill bone cement (loaded in the bone cement dispenser) in the spherical cavity (head portion) of the mould through this window and insert the 10 cm K-wire as reinforcement and close the window by sliding the rubber sleeve back to original position. 6. Fill bone cement in the stem portion of the mould through the opening on superior/top end of the mould. Insert another 10 cm K-wire in the stem. 7.
