The unique design of AeroFit uses the user’s own movement to expel air from the socket, promoting airflow and leaving the skin feeling drier. The perceived skin health of the residual limb is significantly improved by the micro-hole pattern, meshed silicone structure, and the AeroFit Seal-In liner fabric, which wicks humidity away.
Together with the AeroFit Seal-In liner, the AeroFit socket converts a TF socket into a breathable system by installing vents to expel humidity from the socket, promoting airflow and reducing humidity build up. When using AeroFit with Direct Socket TF, the breathable AeroFit socket can be fabricated during a single visit.
