Agentgateway can support exposing OpenAPI endpoints as MCP tools following a "Backend For Frontend" (BFF) pattern that allows you to pick which endpoints, tailor their descriptions, names, parameters, and outputs as well as chain calls together. You can configure explicitly or expose a single "run_code" tool that allows the AI model to generate code based on JavaScript bindings and run the calls in an Agentgateway sandbox.
