Agentic AI Basics
In this video, we move from models to systems. Agentic AI is not about smarter prompts or larger language models. It is about systems that act over time, pursue goals, make decisions, use tools, and adapt to changing conditions. Building on the previous video, this video focuses on: - how agentic systems actually behave once deployed - why agents are fundamentally different from LLMs - how autonomy, reasoning, and tool use change system design - and why agentic AI requires design patterns at the system level, not just better prompts We introduce agentic AI design patterns as reusable, system-level solutions that help make agent behavior observable, governable, safe, and scalable, especially as autonomy increases. This video sets the foundation for the next part of the series, where we will dive into the core components of agentic AI, including intent understanding, reasoning and planning, memory, and tool execution. If you want to go deeper into the design patterns discussed in this video, these resources are highly recommended: Agentic Design Patterns Book https://github.com/sarwarbeing-ai/Agentic_Design_Patterns/blob/main/Agentic_Design_Patterns.pdf Master ALL 20 Agentic AI Design Patterns by @Mark_Kashef https://youtu.be/e2zIr_2JMbE These resources provide practical patterns and visual explanations that complement the conceptual framework presented in this video.
