Today I am conducting the AHT Dope Drill with pistol and then the rifle. The DOPE acronym stands for data on previous engagement, this drill is intended to highlight your recoil control under aggressive shooting paces, and how well you are blending it with accountability of shots under said paces. You are intended to then collect the data, log it and evolve your training based on the results. This drill will paint an excellent picture of how grounded your core principles of shooting are.
