This video is based on recent research that investigates how corporate perceptions of Artificial Intelligence (AI) influence the way knowledge is generated and shared across supply chains. The results indicate that when AI is viewed as both highly useful and easy to implement, learning becomes more decentralised and collaborative, spanning multiple networks. Conversely, negative or cautious views of AI tend to restrict learning to a centralised, focal-company model. Ultimately, the paper provides managers with a framework to align digitalisation efforts with their specific strategic goals for knowledge creation.
