Indexing runs automatically in the background. 2. **Start a chat** — open a new chat session from the sidebar and type your question (e.g. *"What's the refund approval process for orders over $500?"*). 3. **Read the answer** — the assistant replies with a synthesized answer plus citation chips at the bottom. 4. **Verify the source** — click any citation chip to open the original PDF at the exact page in a viewer modal. Use *Open in new tab* if you want a full-window view. 5. **Revisit later** — past chats appear in the sidebar with auto-generated titles; click to reopen. 6. **Manage the library** — use the dashboard (`/admin` or the chart icon in the header) to monitor uploaded documents and indexing status. ### Tips - Ask specific questions ("how do I…", "what is the policy for…") rather than single keywords — the AI works better with full sentences. - If an answer says it can't find relevant content, the topic likely isn't covered in your uploaded SOPs — consider adding the source document. - Citations are your friend: when in doubt, click through and confirm.
