Whatever, just eat. Oh. Taking the first bite makes me remember: I don’t want to go to my part-time job, but I’ll go. When the shift ends and I check the clock, Just macaroni will be waiting for me. My father’s cooking, made just for me... Work was rough, but I guess I’ll keep going. I’ve rested my head; time to think about the future. Just macaroni is the thing that... It’s supposed to save me, And maybe it won’t, But maybe this grueling job Is a place I can be forgiven.
