It allows you to make one object aim at another while maintaining control over the orientation of the constrained object. Here are the key options and their definitions for an Aim Constraint in Maya: Aim Vector: The direction that the constrained object will aim towards. This is typically defined in local or world space. Up Vector: Defines the upward direction for the constrained object. It helps control the rotation around the aim vector and ensures the constrained object maintains the desired orientation. World Up Type: Specifies how the up vector is determined: Object: Uses a specific object in the scene as the up vector reference. Vector: Allows you to input a specific vector as the up direction.
