AIR2 Production Update

Dates referenced from this video should be bookmark to 9/1/2021. AIR VS AIR2 ALL-NEW Air2 is an all-new design that greatly expands the activities where it can be comfortably worn. COMMUNICATIONS Conversations while wearing Air2 are now easy and natural. The new mask is whisper-quiet, thanks to a patent-pending fan suspension module. To help the voice carry through the front more naturally, the fans were moved rearward to make the front filters unobstructed. COMFORT Air2 is comfortable for all-day use. The fan's new location places the center of gravity further back. This improves balance, so the mask stays in place when looking down. The components have also been moved inboard the shell, leading to a more compact and sleeker look. A horizontal Active Band is also standard. CURRENT Airflow management is improved. Clean air is now pushed into the mask from the back. This arrangement still filters the inlet and outlet but also creates a slightly positive pressure in the process. This positive pressure ensures that any leaks flow out of the mask. CONTROLS The power button and charge port are now in the back, accessible to the right or left hand. This new user interface has a more upscale look and feel. It's now easy to connect power while wearing the mask with the included magnetic charging cord adapter. ELLIPSOID Visor impact toughness is substantially improved. The new tough acrylic retains the scratch-resistant properties of the original while improving impact strength. The visor also now comes with a factory fog-resistant coating to minimize fogging when moving between extreme environments. FUTURE Air2 is a platform built for the future. The top half of the mask is now removable. This allows Air2 to accept future upgrades. Some concepts being considered are tinted visors, colors, LED accent lighting, headgear, VR, etc.
