Airflow smoke visualisation test - ProCleanroom
Besides the "standard" tests during validations such as air speed measurements and particle counts, we also provide smoke visualisation to check the airflow pattern and recovery tests to check the recovery time of a cleanroom. Recovery time is the time required to decrease the initial concentration of particles by a factor of 100 (100:1 recovery time). Some other guides describe it as the time taken to achieve cleanliness level for the ‘at rest’ state after a short clean-up period after completion of operation. The recovery time is inversely proportional to the air-change rate. In other words, the higher the air changes, the faster the recovery. Besides testing our modular cleanrooms and flow units, we perform these tests in third-party (traditional) cleanrooms. The tests shown in the video are performed inside a third-party traditional cleanroom.
