This video demonstrates one of the many possible ways to modify your sampler and make it sound a bit more... harsh ;)
This project is a really deep rabbit hole but since I've lost a lots of footage I decided to post only one of the simplest methods. Once you grasp the principles of this modification, it will be an easy job for you to modify it your way - control it with a pot or encoder, use Ableton style "dummy" samples to change the frequencies etc...
