Alain Fabien Maurice Marcel Delon born on November 8, 1935, is a French actor, filmmaker, and businessman. He was one of Europe's most prominent actors and screen sex symbols in the 1960s, 1970s and 1980s. Delon became famous quickly, and by the age of 23, he was already being compared to French actors like Gérard Philipe and Jean Marais. He was also compared to American actor James Dean. There is a French cigarette brand referring to him called "Alain Delon." Delon also launched his own brand of luxury goods. He passed away on August 18, 2024, peacefully in his home in Douchy, surrounded by his three children and his family. He was 88 years old.
