Alesis SR18 Drum Machine

This video features my Alesis SR18 sample based drum machine and how I incorporate into what I do and how I use it within our 80s covers band "RetroPhonics". I feel it's a very underrated drum machine, that has so much to offer, especially within a small band wanting a big sound. The 2nd half of the video I demonstrate how it sounds when I use it in our band. The song is played as I play it live, with no added backing tracks apart from the live sequencer linked to the SR18. Obviously my other band member Steve (guitarist & vocals) is not present. The song is called "With or Without you" 1987 by U2 and my favourite U2 song of all time.
