The EP’s title track, “Takbo”, meaning “to run” in Filipino, sets the tone with a driving low-end, hypnotic rhythms, and an ominous sense of momentum. It’s a brooding, late-night cut built for shadowy rooms and warehouse reverberations, showcasing Alinep’s talent for subtle tension and evolving atmosphere. On the flip, “Padyak” (“to pedal”) brings a more percussive, groove-forward energy, balancing depth with dynamic movement.
