Today I'm showing you the interfacings that I use the most. I'll explain what I use them for & where and show you examples of some bags and pouches made with them. I have a download for you here with tips: https://sewhungryhippie.com/blogs/tutorials/interfacing-pdf-download Things to take away: 1. Feel free to experiment with different interfacings to find what YOU like best. You are not wrong if you use a different interfacing or method of sewing it; that's the beauty of sewing! There are 100 ways to do something right. 2. All Sew HungryHippie Vinyl can take interfacing (except the clears). You can iron/fuse it onto the wrong side with no issue. Because irons vary and temps vary- test a corner first. 3. I use SF101, fusible fleece 917F, and Soft & Stable foam the most in my bags. I decide what "look" I'm after and then use the correct interfacing for the job to get that look. 4. For Some bags I purposely want slouchier and foldable; this may mean I don't use any interfacing OR a layering of SF101 instead of called-for interfacings in the pattern. 5. Don't be too afraid to mess up. The best learning experiences in my life and my sewing came from exploration, messing up, and trying again. This list of interfacings is not exhaustive; there are a thousand different types you can use. These are my favorites because of EASE of use.
