Perfect for beginners and intermediate homebrewers, you’ll learn mash temps, iodine testing, vorlauf technique, gravity readings, yeast pitching, and pro tips to improve your beer every brew day. Whether you're brewing all-grain or extract, this video gives you the exact process to make a clean, refreshing beer at home. Grab a homebrew and follow along! In this video I brew Bell's Oberon American Wheat Ale, using the brewery's own recipe from their website. You can actually buy their home brewing kits, or find the recipe and instructions at: https://store.bellsbeer.com/products/oberon-ale-clone-all-grain-ingredient-kit OR Here is the recipe: Grains: 2-Row 6.0 lbs. (50%) White Wheat Malt 5.0 lbs (41.6%) Munich Malt 0.5 lbs (4.2%) CaraPils Malt 0.5 lbs. (4.2%) Mash Thickness 1.33 Mash Temp: 150F Hops: Perle Hops 1 oz. 60 mins Hersbrucker Hops 1 oz. 30 mins Saaz Hops 2 oz. Flameout Yeast: Imperial A62(Bell's House Yeast) that you have to buy from their website above - OR - I show you how to harvest yeast from their bottles in this video: https://youtu.be/gYJ1_H7PSSo Alternatively, you can use clean ale yeasts like Safale US-04, Safale US-05, White Labs WLP001 or even an American Wheat Ale such as Wyeast American Wheat 1010, (don't use other wheat yeasts like a hefeweizen because you will get banana/clove flavors which is not found in Oberon). I HIGHLY recommend using their yeast if you can, using the harvesting method above. It is easy and fun, and more importantly, free with a 6 pack of bottles! Fermentation Temp: 68-72 (I like to be on the cooler side at 68-69) Target Numbers: OG - 1.056 FG - 1.012 ABV 5.8% SRM 25.7 IBU 40.9 My all-in-one Electric Brewing System 240 Volt System: https://www.clawhammersupply.com/collections/brewing-equipment/products/electric-home-brewing-system-240v-biab?aff=25 120 volt System: https://www.clawhammersupply.com/collections/brewing-equipment/products/digital-electric-120v-homebrew-beer-system?aff=25 Buy all-grain recipe kits Here: https://www.clawhammersupply.com/collections/beer-making-kit?aff=25 Find all the brewing equipment I use and more on my Amazon page: https://www.amazon.com/shop/cityscapebrewing Check out my other tutorial videos!
