All in - this takes so much effort! Paul the apostle alluded to the difficulties of "running the race" in several of his letters in the New Testament . Surrendering is a daily struggle. Maintaining motivation is a daily struggle. When we are thinking about following God sometimes our minds want something but God has not won our hearts. Our whole self must make a decision to follow God before we can know real satisfaction and victory.
