In this video, we attempt to explain ALL VOTING SYSTEMS within seven minutes! The basics of all (major) variations are explained, which include the Plurality System, Proportional Representation System, and Mixed System. Specifically, this video will review First Past the Post (FPTP), Alternative Vote, Two Round System, Open and Close List, Single Transferable Vote (STVs), Mixed Member Majoritarian (MMM), Mixed Member Proportional Representation (MMP), and Single Non Transferable Vote (SNTVs). Edit: In the STV Systems, voters RANK their preferred candidates (similar to Alternative Vote). Unlike AV, there are multiple winners in STV.
