Alone (End Credits) - SOMA - Piano Tutorial
Alone (End Credits) - SOMA - Piano Tutorial Composed by Mikko Tarmia Piano Arrangement by Galaxy Keys Music "Catherine? Please don't leave me here alone... Catherine--Catherine?" SOMA's ending truly is the best ending of any horror game. It has no jumpscare, no scary monsters, no blood or gore, and yet it still conveys a sense of fear and terror that most other horror games simply fall short in. The thought of being trapped alone, in the dark, 5000 feat below the surface on the bottom of the ocean, with your last friend gone forever due to your anger and ignorance, is absolutely terrifying to think about. As the game closes SOMA starts playing this beautifully unsettling piece as the credits roll. The instrumentation of this song and its structure really does strike home the reality of SOMA's ending. There's no twist, no big monster, and no way out. It really is game over. Well for our Simon anyway. Many people who do not know anything about the story of SOMA may call this piece rather beautiful and sad, and yet when played in unison with the closing dialogue and ominous ringing/alarms in the background it morphs into something much more unsettling. Hi everyone! Tell us what you thought of this video and what cover you would like to hear next! I'm always looking for new stuff to arrange, so if you suggest something, there is a high chance I will do a video on it! #soma #pianotutorial
