El Harraz – (Le Gardien jaloux )   Cette chanson a été créée par le cheikh El-Mekki Ben El-Qorchi, poète-conteur aveugle marocain qui se déplaçait d’une place publique à l’autre, avec son petit singe sur l’épaule. Originaire de la ville côtière atlantique d’Azemmour, il finit sa vie après avoir longtemps habité à Marrakech, dans la ville de Larache, au début du siècle passé. This song was created by the Sheikh El Mekki Ben El Qorchi, a blind poet and storyteller who moved from one place to another, with his little monkey on his shoulder. Originally from the coastal town of Azemmour, he died in Marrakech having lived there for a long time in the town of Larache at the start of the last century.
