In an earlier video Liz Cracknell described the nature of complexity and the fact that Dis-integration is the "natural resting state" of complex multi-professional/multi-agency networks (even if this is not helpful, it is inevitable in one form or another.) Here, she explains why what does not help is the addition of "professional shame" and resentment or blame to the mix. What does help, is improved mentalizing across the network, and an explicit effort to make and sustain a culture that expects, looks for, and then addresses ds-integration when it threatens to harm our client's relationship to help.)
