Partially inspired by Gaz Williams "Mutable Challenge" @gazwilliamsbass, and wanting to create something using a mostly Mutable Instruments system, I created this long-form (on YouTube) semi-generative ambient piece. Used Rings and Plaits for the voices, sequenced by Marbles and modulated mostly by Tides. Rings filtered by Ripples and Beads provided reverb and granular bits. Some additional reverb added in Ableton Live. Kind of weird, but the sound of Rings and Plaits sequenced by Marbles, seem nostalgic and almost old school these days. ๐ง.
