Amy Hinaman was one of my closest friends in high school that I unfortunately lost to suicide. Amy was a direct influence in pursuing Composition, and she really meant the world to me. This piece is a small orchestral work detailing Amy's life and death through my personal interpretation of Amy's character and suicide itself. This piece would not have been possible without God allowing me to be at Baylor University with Dr. Scott McAllister and without God allowing me to meet Amy. This piece is dedicated to those who struggle with their mental health and their families.
