Together they turn rhythm into pure mathematics — Euclidean cycles fractalizing into binary subdivisions, patterns that overlap, cancel, or reinforce each other in unpredictable but hypnotic ways. Guiding all this is Traffic from Jasmine & Olive Trees, a deceptively simple CV sequencer that drives colour changes across the ​⁠@SteadyStateFate modules — Ultra Perc, Metalloid— shaping timbre and brightness in shifting hues. The pulses coming out of Constellation, folded and subdivided by Nibbler’s bit-streams, don’t just fire drums; they also ripple into Treebody, where they trigger arpeggiators indirectly. That creates melodies that “drag” along the rhythm, slightly out of sync but still tethered, giving the track its restless, elastic feel. At one point a massive Reese-style bass cuts through the lattice, anchoring the low end, while the higher registers continue to jitter with binary-Euclidean interplay. Constellation ensures the groove never settles into straight repetition; Nibbler’s accumulations keep the subdivisions lurching, evolving, and stacking into complex time.
