You know, one time I asked an artist an insane, deep philosophical question and was so proud of it that at some point I started including one heavy hitting question in every single one of my interviews from that point. I found pride in my ability to bring an artists creative capacity and perspective front and center with those questions, but i slowly realized with each new interview that maybe all this time I was just kinda being mean.
