Nick is one of those guys with a sort of warm authenticity to his speech, taking time to think on his words but still acting on instinct and emotion when it comes to his art. His emotionally raw piano ballads full of cracked vocal croons and soft confessions have been something I've enjoyed for quite a bit now, so finally being able to get to the core of what drives his music was a nice experience. It's a good indicator that many young guys in the underground emo scene are tapped into their emotions with a notable self awareness, the resulting art is insightful and enjoyable. I'm excited to see the trajectory of his artistic growth, I honestly think there's so much more to come.
