Room 101 is a minimal wave track with a more synthpop-oriented approach. It is built around a melody in the pure tradition of French 80s bands such as Deux and Elli et Jacno.
The theme refers to George Orwell’s novel 1984. Room 101 is the psychological torture chamber where obedience and fear are imposed under constant surveillance. The song evokes re-education as a process of control and the gradual erosion of individual thought, where fiction and reality seem to overlap.

Le thème fait référence au roman 1984 de George Orwell. La Room 101 y est la chambre de torture psychologique où l’obéissance et la peur sont imposées sous une surveillance constante. La chanson évoque la rééducation comme un processus de contrôle et l’effacement progressif de la pensée individuelle, là où la fiction et la réalité semblent se rejoindre.
