Andre Gibson - Since I Found You

Chiat Records, 2024 A good friend of Studio Funk is Andre Gibson, multi talented musician, singer and songwriter who's been actively making music for over 40 years. Leader and founder of Chicago funk group, Universal Togetherness Band, which alone has so many impactful and surrounding stories (shameless plug, but it would be worth listening to the Studio Funk podcast to understand and learn more). In the past years Andre has successfully continued to deliver albums through his independent imprint of Chiat Records. One of his most recent releases comes forth the album 'Cornucopia' a collection of songs covering the multi facets of Andre's talents. Also served as a limited vinyl release we have a mixture of jazzy rhythms, traditional two-step, alongside dance floor ready tracks. This particular track 'Since I Found You' pays good homage to his city of Chicago and its origins of House music.
