Android Auto USB Disconnecting? Solved 2024

So you guys came here because like me you were seriously fed up! You have a car with an Android Auto infotainment system which requires connection via a USB cable. It starts working but then randomly disconnects as you drive, normally when you need google maps the most! I tried everything. Fiddling with settings and about 30 different USB cables of varying quality and length.. Sometimes they worked.. For about a week... I finally found a permanent solution.
