LLVM is already being used in Android as the JIT used in Renderscript. Increasingly it is becoming a big part of the development process in embedded software, vision systems, and GPU programming (amongst other things). This session will cover the experience of attempting to build the Android Linux kernel and runtime entirely with Clang/LLVM.
