The Strategic Rocket Forces of the Russian Federation (RVSN RF) successfully launched an Angara-1.2 Russian two-stage small-lift launch vehicle with the Kosmos mission from launch pad 1 at a launch complex Site 35 at Plesetsk Cosmodrome in Russia. This launch flew unknown Kosmos satellites to a low Earth orbit (LEO). The Kosmos military satellites are operated by the Russian Air and Space Forces (VKS).
