This video is similar to the one I posted this morning. Except this time Angela is scribbling using her alternative pencil. Again, there are no expectations for this activity. She can write whatever she wants -- after all what do most kids do the first time they pick up a pencil? Scribble!
Interestingly enough Angela used her PODD to tell me "I'm showing you something -- me!" I asked if she was writing her name and she told me yes! And the next several times we sat down to write she always uses "I'm showing you something", which in my mind makes me smile because she doesn't typically use the branch starter. I guess she wants to "show me" what she writes.
This is our first ever attempt at using the alternative pencil. Girlfriend is motivated and I think she could have just kept going with choosing letters. Lol. That's why the video is so long. :)
