Animal Wars (2000)

Forty years ago, a team of animators and voice actors completed a satire on the Summer and Winter Olympics taking place that year, an Olympic show with furries. This team would later find themselves involved in some of America's most beloved animation. Twenty years later, a low-budget animation crew somewhere in Russia took a good look at this film, was reminded of the animated portion of Bedknobs & Broomsticks and thought to themselves, "uhhhhhhhhh we can do that too?!" The result is Odessa Animation's Animal Wars, the self-proclaimed "one and only animated lampoon on Super Bowl". A movie that for some reason is set in space, has dinosaurs, a T2 parody, multiple references to suicide, mild cursing, the worst sound editing in the world and such a brazen furry lust that it makes Animalympics before it look Christian. It's a blistering calamity of a satire that isn't even sure which demographic it's trying to appease, but hey, at least it has sexy cheerleader mice, am I right? The Russian DVD was used, and was synced up on Premiere with most of the English version. Another copy of the English version available on YouTube is not pan-and-scanned like the one up for rental but is inferior in quality, and all copies of the English version cut out Foxy's post-credit musical number, so expect an abrupt cut from English to Russian dialogue followed by some almost unintelligible English singing.
