ANKA (I am here) is a song about a lady who excitedly surprises a lover with a visit. The lover, who was not expecting to see her, takes a while to open the door and receive her. She therefore waits outside his house, impatiently and long enough to turn his delay into a philosophy. She urges him to quickly realise that love is just like a clock that ticks and waits for no one. If he should be too slow to realise that it is in fact love knocking on his door, then he will miss out on a once in a lifetime opportunity.
