a. Have athlete sit on table with their feet hanging slightly off the edge.
b. Plantarflexion: Athlete should start with foot in full dorsiflexion. Place your thumb along metatarsal heads on plantar aspect of foot and provide resistance as the athlete moves from dorsi- to plantarflexion repeat for 10-15 repetitions.
c. Dorsiflexion: Have athlete started in plantarflexion. Place the palm of your hand across dorsal aspect of foot. Provide resistance as they move into dorsiflexion.
For inversion and Eversion place hand on shin for stability
Inversion: place hand on medial longitudinal arch, provide resistance as the athlete moves from eversion into inversion
d. Eversion: place hand along 5th met. and provide resistance against the athlete moving into inversion.
