Anode Repair Solution

Subsea Anode Repair Solution by use of ROV. SubC has been requested by our clients if we could develop a better solution for repairing degraded anodes on offshore structures, pipelines and foundations in a smarter way. This animation video shows the final solution: Standard ROV equipped with bespoken tool picks up a new anode from a rack in the vicinity of the target. 1) The ROV flies to the target, 2) the tool adjusts to fit the actual orientation of the degraded anode, 3) the ROV moves towards the target, the new anode is clamped on the supporting steel of the degraded anode, 4) and then turns to retrieve the next anode to be installed. The process runs very efficiently and safely, and the actual clamping process takes around 5 minutes. This leads to big savings. SubC offers the complete add-on equipment for your ROV, including manipulator and clamping tool, HPU power control and drums are integrated in bespoken skid fitted for your ROV. The communication is hooked up to your required protocols. This solution has been designed and tested according to DNV-GL.
